Projected Record: 10-7 With Caveats
Analyst Ben Arthur projects the Packers to reach 10 wins in 2026, but only if several key pieces stay healthy and perform.
"The Green Bay Packers' path to being one of the NFC's top contenders is filled with 'ifs.' If Micah Parsols is healthy. If Tucker Kraft is healthy. If 2025 first-round pick Matthew Golden steps up at receiver, filling the void left by Romeo Doubs' departure, this should be a double-digit win season for Green Bay."
At FanDuel Sportsbook, the Packers carry a 9.5-win projected total, +2000 odds to win the Super Bowl, and -132 odds to make the playoffs.
Aggressive Offseason Overhaul
Green Bay made significant moves in both directions. The team traded away edge rusher Rashan Gary and wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks while losing Romeo Doubs, Quay Walker, Malik Willis, Emanuel Wilson, and Rasheed Walker in free agency.
On the acquisition side, the Packers added linebacker Zaire Franklin via trade with Indianapolis and signed defensive lineman Javon Hargrave. Despite lacking a first-round pick due to the Micah Parsons trade, Green Bay selected South Carolina cornerback Brandon Cisse and Missouri defensive tackle Chris McClellan on Day 2 of the draft.
Draft Class Gets Mixed Reviews
Ralph Vacchiano ranked the Packers at No. 16 in his post-draft power rankings, noting that while the team addressed immediate needs at cornerback and nose tackle, the selections may provide depth more than immediate impact.
"CB Brandon Cisse and DT Chris McClellan might be more about depth than immediate impact."
Draft analyst Rob Rang awarded Green Bay a C+ grade, tempering his assessment by criticizing the team's failure to bolster offensive tackle and running back depth, though he praised the "gamble on traits" and predicted Chris McClellan will outplay his mid-Round 3 selection.
