FOX announced Thursday that New York Giants quarterback Jameis Winston will appear on this week's editions of "FOX NFL Kickoff" and "FOX NFL Sunday."
The move marks the latest chapter in Winston's high-profile role with the network. The veteran quarterback served as a correspondent for FOX during Super Bowl LIX week, where he became an internet sensation dancing through New Orleans streets, sampling local food, and interviewing players at Super Bowl Opening Nightโincluding asking Saquon Barkley where he should sign in free agency. Winston took the Eagles star's advice and joined the Giants.
The Giants are on bye this week, giving Winston a break after two starts at quarterback. Through those appearances, Winston has completed 56.9% of his passes for 567 yards, two passing touchdowns, one rushing touchdown, and two interceptions while posting an 83.3 passer rating.
Winston made headlines in Week 12 with a spectacular 33-yard receiving touchdown against Detroit, complete with a stiff-arm that went viral.
Career Overview
Winston, the 2015 NFL Draft's first overall pick, spent five seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2015-19), four years with the New Orleans Saints (2020-23), and one season with the Cleveland Browns (2024). The 2013 Heisman Trophy winner has accumulated 24,792 passing yards and 156 touchdowns across 107 career NFL appearances (89 starts).
He earned Pro Bowl honors as a rookie in 2015 and led the league with 5,109 passing yards in 2019.
Winston has become one of the NFL's most popular players, earning favor across the league for his infectious personality and an endless stream of unforgettable viral moments.
