Washington WR Denzel Boston Declares for 2026 NFL Draft
Washington wide receiver Denzel Boston announces his entry into the 2026 NFL Draft after a standout junior season and is projected as a first-round pick by analysts.
Washington wide receiver Denzel Boston announced Wednesday he will enter the 2026 NFL Draft, ending speculation about his professional future.
The 6-foot-4, 210-pound junior had a productive final season in Seattle. Boston caught 62 passes for 881 yards and 11 touchdowns, earning third-team All-Big Ten honors. He followed that up with a standout performance in Washington's 38-10 LA Bowl victory over Boise State on Dec. 13, hauling in six catches for 126 yards, including a 78-yard touchdown reception.
His production has been consistent. Last year Boston compiled 63 receptions for 834 yards and nine touchdowns.
Draft Projection
NFL Draft analyst Rob Rang has Boston pegged as a first-round prospect. In his most recent mock draft, Rang had the Los Angeles Rams selecting Boston with the 31st overall pick. Rang also ranked Boston as the fifth-best wide receiver available in the 2026 draft class.
Personal Connection
The 22-year-old is from South Hill, Washington, roughly 45 miles south of Husky Stadium, and made his decision with local ties in mind.
"Every time I stepped on that field, it was for the city that raised me and the people who supported me from day one," Boston said.
