Washington's Denzel Boston Declares for 2026 NFL Draft
Denzel Boston, Washington's standout wide receiver, announces his entry into the 2026 NFL Draft after a remarkable collegiate career marked by impressive stats and a strong hometown connection.
Washington wide receiver Denzel Boston announced Wednesday he will enter the 2026 NFL Draft, ending speculation about his collegiate future.
The 6-foot-4, 210-pound junior hauled in 62 receptions for 881 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, earning third-team All-Big Ten honors. He followed a strong sophomore campaign in which he caught 63 passes for 834 yards and nine touchdowns.
Boston made his declaration official just days after a standout performance in Washington's 38-10 LA Bowl victory over Boise State on December 13. He caught six passes for 126 yards in that game, including a 78-yard touchdown reception.
Draft Projection
FOX Sports NFL Draft expert Rob Rang projects Boston as an early first-round selection, penciling him in to the Los Angeles Rams at the 31st overall pick in his latest mock draft. Rang also ranked Boston as the fifth-best wide receiver in the 2026 draft class in October.
Personal Connection
The 22-year-old hails from South Hill, Washington, roughly 45 miles south of Husky Stadiumโgiving his college career deep local roots.
"Every time I stepped on that field," Boston said, "it was for the city that raised me and the people who supported me from day one."
